Thanks for stopping by! My name is James Patterson. I’m an award-winning part-time freelancer whose past clients have included the National Institutes of Health, the President’s Cancer Panel, the National Diabetes Education Program and the U.S. Department of Education.

After freelancing full-time for almost a year, one of my clients offered me a full-time job. I took it, and kept freelancing on the side. That’s how this blog started. It’s a place for freelancers wanting to start out but not ready to take the plunge into full-time status, or for writers just looking for a little extra advice from my unique perspective.
